We are slowly transitioning into spring here in the UK and finally seeing brighter days and beautiful morning sunlight and colours.

I felt compelled to paint this flamingo as a kind of jewel shining in the sun. A reminder also that things usually look so much clearer in the morning. We’ve all had nights when we could not switch off our brains. When we go into dark places (metaphorically speaking). But then when the light of day reappears, things seem brighter and clearer.
