Description

In this piece you can see a cheetah (endangered due to its loss of habitat and hunting) running free – jumping over a bed of roses and forget-me-nots.
You might wonder why I chose those flowers as you can’t find them in the Savanna. The idea is that the cheetah is leaving the manicured gardens you usually find in zoos (such as ours) and running towards freedom. Those strange trees in the upper right corner are stylized trees you would find in the savanna. The yellow rose is the symbol of freedom and the forget-me-not represents remembrance, respect and caring.
